Free Speech on Campus

October 28, 2009 • 12:15 PM • Law School 4047

Universities often provide the setting for important (and sometimes inflammatory) ideas. What regulation of speech, if any, should universities engage in in order to maximize knowledge while ensuring a tolerant learning environment? What special roles do colleges have to protect free speech? Please join Professor Martin Golding for a discussion of freedom of speech issues on college campuses. Lunch provided. Sponsored by the American Constitution Society. For more information, contact Justin Yedor at justin.yedor@duke.edu.
