The companionship of a pet has been shown to reduce stress and increase happiness in those who own them. Students, faculty, and staff who are interested in learning more about pet adoption, or who are in search of a new furry companion, are invited to meet some pets from the Independent Animal Rescue as part of the ongoing Wellness Wednesday series. Pets will be available to adopt for those interested in doing so. Otherwise, information will be available about future adoptions, and staff will be able to answer your questions about the responsibilities of pet ownership. Sponsored by the Office of Student Affairs. For more information, contact Cerretta Amos at firstname.lastname@example.org.
