The Law School’s Center for Criminal Justice and Professional Responsibility is looking for at least two students to work for the Center over the summer break, including working with Professors Jim Coleman and Theresa Newman on Wrongful Convictions Clinic cases and other special projects relating to postconviction criminal law. Experience in this kind of work - either as members of Duke’s Wrongful Convictions course or Innocence Project, or in some other venue - would be helpful but is not essential. The summer staffers will be expected to work full-time for at least ten weeks over the summer, but start/end dates are negotiable and other arrangements may be possible.
