New Yorker staff writer and CNN legal analyst, Jeffrey Toobin, will be at Duke's Sanford Institute of Public Policy on Thursday, October 11 at 5:30 p.m. to discuss his best-selling book "The Nine: Inside the Secret World of the Supreme Court." The book is a view into the last 15 years of Supreme Court history, focusing specifically on the individual justices.

Toobin will be joined in discussing his book (and the Supreme Court) by Duke Law School Dean David F. Levi, a former United States Attorney and chief United States district judge for the Eastern District of California; and by law school professor Neil Siegel, who clerked at the Supreme Court for Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
