CLRP Hosts Inaugural Scholarship Mash-Up
On April 11, 2024, the Duke Law Center on Law, Race & Policy (CLRP) hosted its Inaugural Scholarship Mash-Up.
This successful launch of monthly lunch meetings is a CLRP initiative to bring together faculty from across Duke to share scholarship related to racial equity.
The mash-ups will allow faculty to receive critical feedback on their work and also will lay a foundation for future interdisciplinary collaboration, problem-solving and connection.
Professor H. Timothy Lovelace, Jr., John Hope Franklin Research Scholar and Professor of Law at Duke Law, served as the inaugural presenter, overviewing his forthcoming book, The World is on Our Side: The U.S. and the U.N. Race Convention (Cambridge University Press).
The event was sponsored by the Duke University Office of the Provost Faculty Advancement Seed Grant Program.
