Four students selected as managing editors of The FinReg Blog
The Global Financial Markets Center has appointed four law students to be managing editors of The FinReg Blog, the center’s signature publication that has become a valued resource for policy makers, academics, and banking lawyers seeking to learn more about the most pressing issues in financial law and regulation. Sangita Gazi, LL.M; Francie Kelley, J.D.; David Kim, J.D.; and Chris Smith, J.D. will serve as the inaugural class of managing editors. They will be responsible for soliciting and editing blog contributions, as well as contributing content of their own. "We are excited to have these four talented students serve as managing editors,” said Lee Reiners, the center’s executive director. “Under their stewardship, we are confident the blog will continue to grow and inform policy debates at the state and federal level." Launched three years ago, The FinReg Blog now receives over 2,000 unique views each month and has been cited in Bloomberg, The Wall Street Journal, American Banker, and scholarly papers.
