In his new book, General Jurisprudence: Understanding Law from a Global Perspective (Cambridge University Press 2009), William Twining, Quain Professor of Jurisprudence Emeritus at University College London and perhaps the world's preeminent scholar on law and globalization, proposes to expand and adapt the Anglo-American tradition of general jurisprudence for the age of globalization. Leading scholars will discuss some of the numerous topics in this book.
