Michael Newdow | 9th Circuit Pledge of Allegiance Case

A lecture by the appellee in the Elk Grove Unified School District v. Newdow (542 U.S. 1) case that would later appear in the Supreme Court in 2004. Mr. Newdow discusses his participation in the case and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit ruling in his favor that the words "under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance violated the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment of the Constitution.
