New Approaches & Incentives in Drug Development | Panel 3

Duke Law's Center for Innovation Policy held an inaugural conference to address "New Approaches & Incentives in Drug Development" on Nov. 22, 2013.

The conference's third panel examined "A Comparison of Drug Development with Innovation in Other Industries." Speakers included:

• Stephen Johnson, Chief Intellectual Property and Policy Officer, One Mind for Research
• Philip Johnson, Senior Vice President and Chief Intellectual Property Counsel, Johnson & Johnson
• Gail Levine, Vice President and Associate General Counsel, Intellectual Property, Verizon Communications, Inc.

The conference, held at the National Academy of Sciences building in Washington D.C., was sponsored by Duke Law, the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, and One Mind for Research.
